Carelan Healthcare is a tech-driven healthcare startup, headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana. Our goal, having been in operation for more than a year, is to provide surgeons and their
patients with top-notch services. Through the use of technology, we want to enhance the
healthcare ecosystem by connecting and synchronizing the surgical path of patients, hospitals, and surgeons. The platform uses a business-to-business (B2B) approach with top hospitals and
doctors to offer patients end-to-end services.

Stipend: INR 12,000
Position: Business Development Intern

Our business development interns are an integral part of the company. They are in charge of
increasing the company’s sales. To do so, they can use various channels and spend a significant
part of their time prospecting. Their objective is to secure contracts with existing clients or
convince new clients. They are responsible for multiple functional tasks and roles making them
explore the parts of business and gain important experience and insights.

 Eligibility for Internship
1. Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in clearly communicating the business model.
2. Must be a business-mind person, willing to expand the business development experience and
show they’re ready for leadership roles.
3. Fluency in regional language is a must.
4. Laptop and other devices of basic infra.
5. Knowledge of Google Sheets and Excel.
6. Ability to evaluate business for its weaknesses and strengths.
7. Willingness to work with the same spirit for long hours and meeting deadlines.
8. Good persuasion and negotiation skills.

 Responsibilities of Interns
1. Prospecting potential Surgeons and clients by calling.
2. Identify and evaluate new Surgeons to increase the company’s sales targets and marketing.
2. Get hands-on experience working in an early-stage venture
3. Assisting the assigned Business Development Associate for lead generation by cold calling as well as brainstorm with our experienced Business Development team and bring fresh ideas to the table
3. Identify and report market lucrative business opportunities to capitalize on and increase the
market share.
4. Support the search for new suitable business partners to increase the brand’s networking
capabilities and customer reach.
5. Analyze sales and targets to promote ideas for sustained revenue growth.
6. Other duties as assigned by the Business Development Manager. Carelan believes in making modern healthcare technology available to everyone at the best economical price with seamless insurance claims.
